Thabang is one of the villages in the remote area of Rolpa district. It lies in the northern border; 35 kilometers far from the district headquarter Libang. The village is linked with the border area of Rukum district. Lying on the lap of historical hill Jaljala, 3639 meters high, it is naturally very beautiful and culturally famous. The people of People of Thabang have cleanness, purity, sincerity and devotion, dedication and sacrifice as well. Livelihood of the people has been more inconvenience because of the lack of access in transportation, electricity, education and health. People are forced to die untimely because of poverty. There are no hospitals for treatment. People have to walk two days trek to reach to the nearest hospital in district headquarter Libang. The only government health post is unable to provide its qualitative health service to the people. Villagers are forced to go to the urban facilitated hospitals to take very expensive cure, which most of the people are unable to afford. peoplee have bitter .
